There’s a new teen queen in the house! The Queenly team traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, to watch the 2021 Miss Teen USA pageant. As official sponsors, this was such a treat!

On Saturday, November 27, 2021, Breanna Myles of Florida was crowned Miss Teen USA 2021! As an Afro-Latina, Breanna is an avid advocate for diversity and inclusion.
Although Breanna came out on top, all 51 contestants were such deserving candidates! The Top 16 was especially strong this year and we loved being able to watch them re-compete in the evening gown competition. Congratulations to California, Georgia, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, South Carolina, Wisconsin, and Wyoming for making the first cut!

Then, there were five! District of Columbia, Florida, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah all took the stage, ready to have a girl talk. This group conversation was a new area of competition and we absolutely loved it! It was such a unique opportunity to get to know their personalities on a deeper level.
During the on-stage question competition, Breanna captivated the judges when she responded to the statement: “if you win this evening, you’ll become an even bigger social media influencer. Tell us about your content strategy and how you plan to drive engagement.” She explained, “I believe that the biggest thing about social media is that we need to use it as a positive platform. As Miss Florida Teen USA, I’ve been about to really spread the message of being your own gem and being you. It’s really important that we are able to realize that it doesn’t matter those superficial things. We go on social media and we compare ourselves to others. We truly need to know that it’s what’s on the inside that matters. Thank you.” With an answer like that, it’s no surprise that she captured the crown!
Breanna isn’t new to the pageant world and it clearly showed! She first started competing at the age of 12 and competed in the International Junior Miss, National American Miss, and USA National Miss systems. We can’t wait to see how she utilized these experiences as Miss Teen USA!
You know that we at Queenly absolutely love formal wear, so we were obsessed with the evening gown competition! Our new Miss Teen USA looked stunning in her white ball gown with a high slit. The fully beaded bodice absolutely shined on stage and added so much sparkle to her look. We can’t wait to see the types of gowns and dresses she chooses throughout her reign!
