So now that the school year is over, sorority girls can take a break from Monday Night meetings and the constant thought of recruitment… or maybe not. Formal Recruitment is something that is always on our minds, especially when summer begins.
The thought of having to find the perfect dresses for each day of formal recruitment is such a hassle. But it doesn’t have to be!
I am now graduated and without duties and responsibilities of rush week, but I am all too familiar with that worry. I know recruitment days can vary by campus, but generally, formal rush lasts for about 5 days. On my campus, we had to dress up for 3 of those days.
Our rush week consisted of 2 Unity days, Sisterhood Day, Philanthropy Day, and Preference Night. For the first two nights, all houses wore the same t-shirt with some cute bottoms, but the rest of the days were filled with more formal dresses. Below I have compiled a list of the most common color wheels that I have gone through my sorority days and some of the best options you can find on Queenly!
Blush pink is a great color for sorority girls. These light pink dresses will help you show your bubbly, friendly personality!
Similar to blush pink, lavender is a great color to wear for sorority recruitment events. This color is so flattering to all body types and perfect for spring recruitment season.
I love green as a color for rush events. Whether it’s a forest green long sleeve mini, or a beaded emerald dress, green is an underrated color for sorority formal nights.
Of course, last but not least, you can never go wrong with a Little White Dress. Every sorority sister needs a cute white dress in their closet! My advice: don’t limit yourself to just one!
