Plunge White Size 12 Mermaid Dress by Mon Cheri

Brand new Mon Cheri wedding dress, never used. Style # 119120, color diamond white/ oyster, size 12.

I had the neckline altered to a plunge neckline with nude mesh. It was far more flattering for me. In the selfie picture of it the alteration was not complete yet (you can see that it still has pins and the gap was wider than what it ended up being). You can see the final result in the picture of it hanging in the bag. It came out beautifully!

I also had the bra clasp in the back extended a little bit because it was very tight (I read from many other reviews that most women ended up needing to have that done to theirs too, it ran very small).

After altering I decided to go with another dress (that I had planned to use for the reception) only because my wedding was in the jungle in Costa Rica and involved a bit of a hike and this dress was heavier, beaded, and had more of a train (which I LOVED) that could snag on things. Nothing was wrong with this one at all, it just wasn’t as practical for my location. I ended up wearing a more simple, non beaded one.
