no stretch, free hip. I measured about 24 inches from the bust line to the shortest point of the skirt in the center. The full train exhausted my tape so it is well over 60" long. If you are thinking about adding a corset, the zipper is just under 13" long measured from the outside--you could take a 14" corset and trim.

EUC-- I see a tiny bit of deodorant dust under the sides of the bustline And there's a little bit of fading around some of the crystals - I wonder if the dyeing was finished after the embellishments had been applied, and so if the embellishments shifted they uncovered this a little. but it is only visible with extremely close inspection.

This is an absolutely show-stopping performance look, and my husband actually said "that looks like a Spanish dress" When it was on the dress form, so I think a Carmen needs this one 🙂 The zipper does work, it was just a little too tight for my dress form but I have included a photo of it zipped up in the flat lay. This would be a great first diva gown for your young voice students or a talent gown for any who do pageants.
