NWT Mid-Y2K Vintage Maggie Sottero Haute Couture Ivory Beaded Halter Wedding or Performance Gown

NWT, With a few loose threads from shelf wear that I am knotting off and clipping as I see them. I also think there may have been a thread eye for the hook and eye closure at the top of the zipper that is no longer there, but the zipper seems strong enough that you wouldn't need it. There are also buttons and elastic loops along the length of the zipper for additional reinforcement.

This is a lovely example of mid Y2K vintage (ugh I don't want to believe people are calling that vintage now, but the depop crowd doesn't lie I guess!) And could be worn as a wedding gown or custom dyed for use as a performance gown. It is an ivory or vanilla color and the sequins have a gold tint to them, so it is less overtly wedding-y than most bridal looks. It also seems to be lined in some sort of cotton fabric for extra comfort, which is something I have only seen on a few very high-end Y2K gowns like the Ronnie & Irit I have up. If desired you could hem the train so that it is all one length. I measured the length from what I estimated would be the top of the bust line since I know halters can be unreliable for length measurements.

Like most bridal sizing it runs about 2 sizes small and seems to fit my dress form like a street size 6.

Since there was no "ivory" option I simply selected multicolor: it's not a true white. Ivory works better on most skin tones anyway IMO.
