Early 60s Vintage Champagne Brocade & AB Sequin Column Gown
Measurements in pics, no stretch. I tried to accommodate the projection in the bust and when I did I got about 17.5 inches across, which agrees with how loose it was on my dress form. 56" long.
EUC, With the only visible flaws being a small bit of loose thread with sequins on it on the back left and some slight discoloration just under the armholes that would not be visible during wear. Really remarkable condition given its advanced age.
This is an absolute gem of a find from the early 1960s, straight out of Mad Men. There is no brand or size tag but the ILGWU tag is intact. And for once it is not a size that I would need to donate to my 7-year-old niece! Back zip and hook/eye closure. The lining feels like acetate.
